Lexington Baseball School is proud to announce our newest offering to improve your baseball skills: Strength & Conditioning that has been specifically designed for baseball players.

Much of our program has been designed by and for professional baseball players and has been adapted to suit youth and high school players. Our plan includes agilities, weight training, circuit-training, and cardio workouts all deliberately selected to benefit the aspiring baseball player.

We will work with you personally - all program units will have no more than four students per instructor.

Benefits of Strength Training
Strength training increases the muscles' size, strength, and endurance, which contribute to improvements in our sports and our general day-to-day activities.
Below you will find just some of the benefits of strength and conditioning for the baseball
player:

Injury Prevention - A wide variety of sportsrelated or life-related injuries can be prevented by strengthening muscles and joints Increased agility, balance, stability and coordination with more power available to the athlete & fewer falls or accidents Increased power output which increases speed of movement -- thereby heightening sport prowess.

Rehabilitation and Recovery – a great way to heal many types of injuries is to strengthen muscles surrounding the injured area; the stronger your muscles, the quicker the healing process.

Increased energy - more endurance, power and strength which translate into more useable energy.

Increased endorphins (pain killers) - the "runner’s high".

Enhanced psychological aura surrounding the more physical and powerfully prepared athlete

Body fat percentage decreases and lean tissue percentage increases

Range of motion and flexibility increases

Lung function increases
